Extremely rare, the 6.50 × 58 Toro Grande’s wrapper is grown in the Connecticut River Valley making for a notable change in the flavor. The core, however, still features a delectable mixture of long-filler and binder tobaccos including Crillo, Corojo Habano and Sancti Spiritus, however the exact blend is still under lock and key. Again, unlike the standard, the premium cigar is box pressed slightly elevating the medium-full bodied smoke. Not quite as strong as many of the brands powerhouse blends, the profile showcases notes of lightly spiced leather producing a persistent and rich aroma.
