The Byron cigar brand is a premium brand revitalized by Nelson Alfonso in 1998. Alfonso has been responsible for many Cuban cigars in recent years, including the famed Cohiba Behike BHK. What makes Byron special is the unique 3-year minimum aging process, which produces a consistent, rich, flavorful cigar.

Byron was created in Cuba in 1848 by cousins, Jose and Eusebio Alfonso. Named after the avid cigar smoker and popular poet of that time Lord Byron. 80 years later, tragity struck with the Great Depression causing the family to sell the brand name. 

Once recovered, Byron cigars went on to create different lines signifying its more than 300 year history. The 19th, 20th, and 21st century lines offer a mix of well-balanced flavors ranging from peppery and spicy to fruity and sweet.
