The story of Luciano Cigars begins with passion: for people, creativity, and the extraordinary flavor found in carefully crafted premium cigars. Originally a nonprofit, what would become Luciano Cigars began as an initiative to provide fair wage jobs in the community of Estelí, Nicaragua, manufacturing for other premium cigar brands. After falling in love with the process of cigar-making and its people, and building a respectable reputation as manufacturers, we decided to embark on a new journey launching Ace Prime Cigars in 2019.
The past three-years have been extraordinary for our brands, especially Luciano Cigars, in more ways than anyone imagined. At its inception, Ace Prime had partnered with Crowned Heads forming an alliance that proved to be an essential stepping stone during years of unprecedented growth. Today we see Luciano Cigars as the next phase for our company, now as an independent and fully vertical operation.
Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers an Ecuadorian Sumatra and Habano ’92 binder and filler leaves from Nicaragua, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. Luciano Meirelles was inspired by the life and times of his mother Maria Lucia when developing the blend for this full-bodied cigar. His mother was a multi-faceted woman who faced many challenges in her life. She overcame them by adapting to the various situations she encountered. Like its namesake, the Maria Lucia cigar has an overall versatile profile.
