LA AURORA ADN CIGAR EVENT!
September 22 @ 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm| Free
La Aurora’s DNA has arrived in the U.S. Literally.
La Aurora ADN Dominicano has begun shipping. It’s the latest release from the oldest Dominican cigar maker, this time paying tribute to andullo, a tobacco found in the Dominican Republic.
While most tobacco is stored in harvested leaf by leaf, hung and then stores in large piles, andullo grows wildly and is harvested and then placed in large cylindrical pods, which almost look like logs from a tree, they are then stacked on top of one another to age the tobacco.
La Aurora has used andullo on a variety of releases in the past, but it’s the focus of ADN Dominicana, which translates to Dominican DNA.
The cigar, which debuted in the Dominican Republic earlier this year, uses a Dominican wrapper from the Cibao Valley, a Cameroon binder and Dominican, Nicaragua and Pennsylvanian fillers, including a full leaf of andullo tobacco in the filler.
